Nobody asked:

I’m endomorphic (pear-shaped) and all of my fat is in my lower stomach and my hips…any exercises or foods to help lose it?
I’m 5′7 and 136 lbs…is that fat?

  3. You can’t just lose fat in one place. Just cut down on things that make you overweight like sugar and carbs. Get some exercise. Drink plenty of water.

  5. To loose access belly fat, you want to do 30 full crunches, 30 half crunches, and 30 leg lifts at least once per day. To lose those handles, get a normal sised broom handle or a closet bar (depending on your size) and move in twisting motions. Like the way you would do to crack/pop your back. That should do it in a few months :) Hope this helps!

  8. Your fat is stored mostly in your stomach, butt and hips, which are natural storage places for body fat. If you lose weight, it will disappear most noticeably from those places. Do sit-ups to strengthen your core, and run for 3 miles everyday–however, all the situps in the world won’t help if you don’t reduce your calorie intake. A cardinal rule is to never eat anything that your great-great-grandmother would not recognize as food. That means no ice pops, no cake, no fast food or sugar. However, apple pies are ok, as are lean protein, whole-grain bread, fruits and veggies and SALMON!

Green tea helps you lose weight because it contains natural antioxidants. Celery is a negative calorie: you burn more calories eating it than you take in: it has exactly .0000000008 calories per 10 pounds. You burn more than that just eating it.

Here is an exercise routine. To do Stationary Bicycle exercises, lay on your back on the floor with your hands behind you head. Raise your left leg straight into the air and at the same time, draw your right knee to your chest. Touch it with your left elbow, still keeping hands clenched behind your head. OK:
    1. 50 situps (increase by 10 each week)
    2. 25 crunches(increase by 5 each week)
    3. 80 stationary bicycle (increase by 20 each week)
    4. 1 minute plank (increase by 30 seconds each week).

For the plank, lay on your stomach and lift yourself up off the ground with your hands bent at the elbow and your palms flat on the floor. Raise yourself onto your toes, and hold for the amount of time you are trying to accomplish.

Above all, drink lots of WATER! If you dehydrate yourself, your body will start storing up water weight and make you appear bloated.

Don’t weigh yourself to track your progress, b/c you’ll be gaining muscle which weighs more than fat. Instead, measure around your stomach/hips each week and measure the amount of fat you can pinch. If you keep at this routine for 5 days a week, for 2 months, the numbers will go way down!. Also try swimming: it tones your thighs and core. Good luck!

  9. Your size/weight sounds good.
Enjoy your life – but keep fit so it doesn’t double up on you.

  10. Dear pear shaped person,
While you question is vague I will dare to answer. First you must drink between 2 and 6.32 gallons a prune juice a day to purge the toxins from your body. Then you must eat 2 cheese hot pockets for breakfast and spend 20 or 30 minutes on a pogo stick to aid in the digestion process. For lunch have an ensure, 2 hydroxicuts and a 12oz can of spagetti-o’s. followed by 40 minuted of the pogo stick, and a bout of water polo. For dinner have a can of dr. pepper, 2 raw eggs, 1/2lb of beef jerky, and a 8oz jar of grape jelly. again followed by the pogo stick. Do this for 5 weeks, on week 6 start following a 2200 calorie diet, along with a 2 mile jog 5 days a week, until you reach the desired results.

  11. It is not possible to spot reduce fat in just one part of your body, like your belly. In order to lose belly fat you will need to lose the fat all over your body.

In short you may need to start:

    1) Eating healthier, this means:

    Eat smaller meals
    Eat more meals a day
    Don’t starve yourself
    Eat more vegetables and fruit
    Drinks more water
Less sugars and empty calories (less soft drinks, cakes, cookies)
Switch to whole wheat versions of your bread and pasta, brown rice instead of white rice

    2) Exercising:

Forget crunches, crunches work your ab muscles but they dont burn enough calories to lose belly fat, if you do hundreds of crunches daily you will have great abs but you wont see them under your belly fat.
Prefer full body exercises they burn the most calories and increase you metabolism for a few hours after your workout.
Get a training partner or a fitness trainer, a very worthwhile investment – of the money you save on junk food for example =)

Try also to reduce stress and get enough sleep. Both of these are related to weight gain and emotional eating.

I wish you all the best,
    John
