i really don’t think it will work for u. first of all u won’t jog that fast and only fast exercising is called cardio. second u will get bored very fast. to lose fat belly u need to do cardio at least for 1 hour. come on, give me a break, u will never ever jog from kitchen to bathroom for 1 hour every day.

Exercise alone is not the key to losing fat that is around the belly. You should look to change your diet as well as start an exercise program. If jogging in place and to and from the kitchen is an improvement then its a positive step to weight loss. Eventually you can work your way up to jogging outside. Any kind of movement is always better than none at all and after doing something for a little while you will be able to take another step in intensity and duration.
So good first step, your thinking, now just keep moving down that path

Change your diet, don’t take in empty carbs, especially carbs from drinks, water is the best and only drink needed to sustain life, hence it’s importance. Also, running in place will be a good addition, to a workout plan, could make a good cool down but will not give you results you are looking for. go to your local school or something and run a few laps, or treadmills at the local gym. Sit ups and crunches are free, and can be preformed almost anywhere, are suggested. if you need a good sit up, I suggest you Google, or yahoo search Janda Sit ups Dr. Janda was a physical fitness scientist and his methods have been proven to work in many studies.
